Prominence fine structures in weakly twisted and highly twisted magnetic flux ropes

Context. Many prominences are supported by magnetic flux ropes. One important question is how we can determine whether the rope weakly twisted or highly twisted. Aims. In this paper, attempt to decipher and ropes manifest different features so that might distinguish two types of structures based on their appearance. Methods. We performed pseudo three-dimensional simulations with twists. Results. find resulting differ in many aspects. The prominence a composed mainly transient threads (?82.8%), forming high-speed flows inside prominence, its horns evident. Conversely, consists stable quasi-stationary (?60.6%), including longer independently trapped shorter magnetically connected threads. Our also reveal spine deviates from axis vertical direction photospheric polarity inversion line projected solar surface, especially for rope. Conclusions. significantly results suggest piling-up short account vertical-like some prominences.
